2 Cover Reveals - The Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan & Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare

Happy to share two new covers today!

The Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan
October 4th, 2011 by Hyperion Books For Children

I must say, this is my daughter's favorite author. I am SO proud the Rick lives in Texas. He is very generous with his time and comes up to Austin a lot for release parties. He has been known to sign over 1,000 books in 5 hours with very little breaks. He is always smiling.... I hope he comes back to Book People in the fall for his release party.

Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare
December 6th, 2011 by Margaret K. McElderry Books

The long awaited cover for Clockwork Prince was unveiled at BEA the other day. Nope, I wasn't there, but TX blogger MundieMoms had it for us the same morning. This cover is very nice and fits well with Clockwork Angel. I hear this is Jem.....hmmmm.

  1. I AM SO EXCITED! These are two of my most anticipated books of 2011! Your daughter has good taste :) I absolutely adore everything that Rick Riordan writes. As I often say, he deserves a place with the 12 Olympians because he's just THAT good! And Clockwork Prince. Need I say more? This is Cassie Clare we're talking about.

    Can't wait for Fall 2011!!

  2. I am so excited for both of these books! I LOVED Percy Jackson and now the continuation with Heroes of Olympus. I can't wait to see what Son of Neptune will hold for all of these awesome characters. And of course I am also dying for Clockwork Prince!! I hope I can get my hands on an ARC at ALA.

  7. Love the cover for Clockwork Prince. I think it is one of Cassandra Clare's best covers yet. It is very fitting to the theme and to Jem. At least I think so. :0)
