Texas Library Association Conference & Meetup - 2014 #TXLA14

It's that time of year! In THREE weeks, the largest state-wide library conference will start. This year, we are San Antonio bound - think river walk, think shenanigans! I'll be presenting on Tuesday - PR on a Budget, and Thursday - Be Prepared: Best Practices for Scout Projects in the Library  I'll also be moderating the Women of YA panel bright and early on Friday after the YART business meeting. Join me and Ava Dellaira, Rachel DeWoskin,  Laini Taylor, Robin Wasserman, and a secret guest!

This post will fill you in on everything you need to know to attend TLA like a pro and info about a meetup that you don't want to miss. If you have any questions, ask below and I'll try to help!

Literary Lonestars is born!

I've said it a million times, but it's true...Texas has an amazing literary community! Because there are so many amazing events and even more amazing authors at these events, we are committed to keeping you informed.

Literary Lonestars is comprised of a group of YA bloggers reading from the heart of Texas! Join us as we cross the Lonestar state in search of a great book and autograph. We will post new and upcoming releases, book reviews, and author signing events in Texas. You don't live in Texas? It's always nice to know what your favorite author is writing and where they are touring. We hope you join us... Lonestar or not!

Join us on Facebook! You are free to post and join the discussion threads!

Happy Reading!
