I stumbled upon this gem today:

Wonder if Jackson Pearce knows about this....??

  4. I've no idea what it's about (nor did I realize it's based on a novel) but I'm a sucker for striking graphics and who can resist the red hood?!

  5. This looks so cool-- yeah, the cloak reminds me of the Village, too. A lot of people hate on M Night, but that's one of my favorite movies.

Looks like a movie that could keep me sane until DH Part 2 :)

  9. Sure doesn't look like a YA movie. I love red riding hood. Fangs, Wands and Fairy Dust

  10. The trailer totally has my interest, but I'm curious on how well the movie will do. We should have a get together and go see it when it comes out.

  11. Hmmmm, interesting. When it started, all I could think was this is either a Twilight spoof or a Twilight rip-off. Really, the beginning came straight from Twilight. But then I saw who the director was so the Twilight references make sense. I don't know. Me thinks I'll be skipping this one until after I hear some reviews.

@Steph, I agree - didn't look too YA to me.

  12. I'm not really sure it's supposed to be a movie for kids. It isn't rated yet so we will see. They may squeak out a PG-13, but who knows. Fairy tales are generally very dark stories that Disney has cute*sied up for us. The Little Mermaid for example....I'll stay tuned.

    Thx for all your comments!
