Texas Book Blogger Holiday Party

All Texas bloggers are invited to mi casa this Friday night for our first annual Texas Book Blogger Holiday Party!

After the Beautiful Darkness stop in Austin a few of us bloggers got together and decided to host a holiday party. This would be a time to get together, trade books, and officially meet other Texas bloggers in person. The plan is to bring all of your unwanted books and swag to trade. This would include galley's, ARCs, and audio books of any genre and age group - adult fiction too! We understand that not all of the books will be chosen. We have an idea for those titles. We will gather all of the unneeded materials and donate them or group them together for giveaways. We are leaning towards donating them to a shelter here in Austin, but ideas are welcomed. I have been researching the best place considering there will be galley's and ARCs. We will decide as a group. So....here are the details:

Friday, December 3rd around 6:30pm

Host: me, Jen Bigheart (I Read Banned Books)
Steiner Ranch in Austin, TX

Book swap and donation

Potluck (unless you are driving a long distance)

If you know anyone who would love to be a part of this...please feel free to share the information and give me their email so they can be included. Bloggers, librarians, authors...everyone is welcome. This is who we have coming so far:

Girls in the Stacks (Shannan, Stacey, and Nancy)
Mundie Moms - Mundie Kids (Katie B.)
Stephanie, A History (Steph Pellegrin)
Mystical Lit Lounge (Kim and Shannon)
Reading Or Breathing (Kelsey Dickson)
Fictionally Yours (Jennifer Dee)
Author Andrea Mitchell

Wanna come...of course you do! email me @ jenbigheart(at)yahoo.com and I'll get you more details! The more...the merrier!

Happy Reading!

  1. Jen!

I totally wish I was going, but I've finally made my holiday travel plans and it looks like I won't be able to go Austin this Friday.

Thanks so much for inviting me, and I really hope you girls have fun!

    Cheers!
