Waiting on Wednesday

Through Her Eyes by Jennifer Archer
April 5th 2011 by HarperTeen

From the Publisher:
Sixteen-year-old Tansy Piper moves with her grandfather and her mother, a horror writer, to the setting of her mother's next book--a secluded house outside of a tiny, desolate West Texas town. Lonely and upset over the move, Tansy escapes into her photography and the dark, seductive poems she finds hidden in the cellar, both of which lure her into the mind and world of a mysterious, troubled young man who died sixty years earlier.

Okay...there are FOUR things I already love about this book.

1. This book takes place in Texas
2. The main character loves photography
3. The authors name is Jennifer
4. The cover

Do I really need any other reason?

  1. Ooh the MC needs to brush up on her Horror Movie 101. First of all never live in a house with an attic especially if you're living in the setting for your mother's horror novel, 2 dark poetry of someone who is no longer a live? That you should just leave alone and 3rd don't make trips to the attic a regular thing especially if you're going alone!

Oh well sounds like it would be a nice spooky read. I hope you enjoy it!

    My WoW

  2. Great pick Jen !! I love the cover : it's gorgeous !! I can't wait for the release ;)
