The Book Blogger Hop (18)

The Book Blogger Hop is a weekly event hosted by Jennifer at Crazy for Books and runs from Friday to Sunday.

The Hop is a fantastic way to get your blog noticed, and visit some other blogs that you didn't know about before. Head over and sign up and see what you can find!

Each week a different question will be added to the hop in order for conversations to occur, and for your followers to get to know you better. Here we go!

"Who's your all-time favorite book villain?"

Valentine Morgenstern? President Snow? The Edison Group? Neferet? Count Olaf? Mrs Coulter? Ridley? Nope! My pick is....Lord Voldemort!

Leave your comments and I'll find you!

  5. A good choice. Definitely one of the more out-and-out evil characters in children's literature.

Also, you've got one of the best blog titles I've seen in a while--I Read Banned Books--love it.

  8. My favorite book villain is, hands down, is the Napoleon of crime -
    Professor James Moriarty.

It took me less than ten seconds to come up with my answer. But you'll

I totally forgot about the devious Count Olaf. That reminds me, I need to finish the Series of Unfortunate Events er...series.

  12. Oh, Voldemort. I don’t think I can say that I “liked” him though, at least, not the way that I liked Snape, for example. (Even though Snape did turn out to be good in the end.) I like the scenes we get with Tom Riddle – seeing his first meeting with Dumbledore and so on.

If I had to choose someone who genuinely grosses me out, I’d say President Snow from The Hunger Games is quite a villain. That whole thing with blood on his mouth? And leaving white flowers as his, “I’m gonna get you” calling card? He seems to take way too much pleasure in systematically murdering children.
