The Book Blogger Hop (7)

The Book Blogger Hop is a weekly event hosted by Jennifer at Crazy for Books and runs from Friday to Sunday. The Hop is a fantastic way to get your blog noticed, and visit some other blogs that you didn't know about before. Head over and sign up and see what you can find!

Each week a different question will be added to the hop in order for conversations to occur, and for your followers to get to know you better. Here we go!

"What is your favorite book cover?"

My favorite? Just one? Hmmmm, that's hard. I love some covers based on the art alone and then I love covers because I've read the book and I loved the book. Based on the cover alone, I love Sisters Red. The mirror imaging of the sisters and the the wolf's sinister stare is so very cool. I can see this image on a t-shirt. (and I would SO wear the shirt)

I tend to go for more artistic renditions than photographic images. Strange because photography is a huge hobby of mine, but there you go. Sometimes I think a book cover will be nothing special until I read the book and then everything changes. After reading the book, the story and book cover just click. After that...I have a better opinion on the cover.

Follow Friday is hosted by the lovely Rachel at Parajunkee's View. There is no question this week. *insert sad face*

Would love to hear your answers! Leave me your link....

Gratitude Giveaway ends Sunday, November 28th at midnight!

I have not chosen winners for the 250 Follower Giveaway or the Love Drugged Giveaway. I am still in Oklahoma! I promise to get to it soon!

Happy Reading!

  1. I cheated a bit with my post - I chose four. Picking one was just way to hard. I thought about adding this one in, but I didn't. This is on my to-read list though. Did you like it?

  2. I really love that cover, but I think my favourite would have to be the cover for's stunning!

Be sure to check out my international blogoversary giveaway going on now :)

  3. Great cover choice, I've never noticed the wolf before, perhaps because the red hair was what stood out for me.
Hope you had a great thanksgiving!

  4. That's an awesome cover, I wouldn't have seen the wolf unless you had pointed it out. My choice is here

  5. I agree, I tend to like more artistic covers that are symbolic rather than actual photographs of characters. Which is why I love The Hunger Games series and the Twilight series covers.

  6. Hi there! I am a new follower from the hop. There are so many covers to choose from. I tend to read a lot of romance so I love the covers with a hot man with his arms around the woman he adores. We all have our preferences, don't we?! Come and visit me at
