2. Include the linky list with all the participating blogs at the end of your post OR link to this blog or I Am A Reader, Not A Writer
3. Your giveaway must be related to Banned Books Week. You can giveaway a book that has been banned or challenged or if you are giving away a gift card you must post some information about Banned Book Week. 5. This must be a giveaway specifically for this hop and must run only the 8 days this hop is scheduled.
6. Keep your giveaway easy to find for the entire 8 days this hop is open. If you post often and your post does not stay near the top of your main blog page then please post a link to your giveaway at the top of your blog or sidebar. If we can't easily find your giveaway you will be deleted from the linky.

ReplyDeleteYAY! I'm glad to sign-up! Now to figure out what to give away!
ReplyDeleteI feel like an idiot because I hit enter on the linky before I said said INT for shipping :( I would edit it myself if I could.... :(
ReplyDeleteThis will be my first giveaway hop! I do a week of posts for Banned Books Week anyway so I figured, why not? Now to pick out the perfect book(s) from the list. =O) Thanks for organizing this with Kathy
ReplyDeleteI don't normally do these sorts of hops, but I couldn't pass up THIS one. I strongly support banned books (well NOT banning I guess I should say? lol) - thank you Jen for co-hosting this! I'm very much looking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteHooray for banned books!!!
ReplyDeleteBut when I filled out the entry form, I failed to put our shipping information after our name. How can I edit that? Thanks!
I'm so excited to participate in this! Yay Banned Books Week!!
ReplyDeleteThank you all for signing up early! You will get an email to help remind you of the hop a week or so before it begins. Feel free to post the hop pic on your sidebar to let people know that you are participating. Thank you for being Intellectual Freedom Fighters!

What a great idea! I've signed up. I can't wait! :-)
ReplyDeleteQuestion: I post on two group blogs, my post days are 9/25 and 9/29 -- can I still sign up with the blog name? (Murderati and Murder She Writes.)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed this a lot last year. Count me in.

Hi there!
ReplyDeleteI have entered this Hop! I DO read banned books! Have a question: Do we have to read the banned books that are listed on your site only, or can we read other banned books we have found on the banned books lists?
Appreciate your help!
Thanks!

Yay! I'll be putting up a post on September 23 and run the giveaway for the entirety of Banned Books Week. I'm putting the button on my page today.
ReplyDeleteOoh. I'm going to get Lauren Myracle to sign her Internet Girls. (ttyl, ttfn) books for me to give away when I'm at the Decatur Book Festival in a couple of weeks! Most challenged in 2010.

This BBW Hop sounds like fun. Just keep in mind that no books have been banned in the USA for about half a century.

ReplyDeleteMy url address has changed since I put it on the linky. #200 This Great Perhapsless is now at http://thisgreatperhapsless.blogspot.com

Hi!
ReplyDeleteI just founds your email about NO books have been banned for about a half century now! That's cool to know! So it is the little groups, or large, like Christian groups, Parent groups, and others, but groups like that who are the ONLY ones who bans books that decide books should be banned for "them"!
Thanks for the educational info!
